PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Academy for Classical Studies is a humanities-based interdisciplinary program, carefully designed to meet the needs of all students. Students in ACS seek out truth, beauty, and goodness in the world around them. There are opportunities to engage in the highest level of academic coursework in all disciplines in preparation for upper division course options in Advanced Placement, UT OnRamps Dual Enrollment, or ACC Dual Credit courses.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE STUDENT EXPERIENCE
- Explore the deeper questions of life and analyze the impact of philosophical ideas on our present day lives
- Participate in frequent Socratic Seminars, inquiry-based learning, and research activities
