Red Dragon Players receive nominations for 'Gypsy' from Heller Awards
The Red Dragon Players were nominated on March 8, 2026, for Best Production for their performance of "Gypsy: A Musical Fable" at the Heller Awards for Young Artists.
Danny Green Basketball Camp - with Austin High Maroons
Former NBA player and 3x Champion hosted a camp with Austin High School! Great turn out and camp hosted by the former champ which saw multiple Austin High School and Austin ISD Students.
Maroon Round Up - Class of 2029 Save the Date
Maroon Round Up, Austin High’s version of freshman orientation, will be Thursday, August 7 from 9:30-12:30. Busses will run their routes. Many more details are to come but for now, save the date!

Austin High Football Secures Playoff Spot!
Austin high football went into Friday night controlling their own playoff destiny. Win and get in, lose and go home. Bowie was in the same position needing a win to secure a playoff spot and a loss would eliminate them.
