Delta

  • Offered during the school day as a class period (priority placement for juniors and seniors)

  • Self-paced computer program with Austin HS Teacher support

  • Students may work on daily assignments at home in addition to class time.

Twilight 

  • Classes are offered after regular school calendar days, Mondays - Thursdays, 4:40-6:10 p.m., Room 272
    • Fall 2025: September 24 - December 4, 2025

Credit by Exam (CBE)

  • Comprehensive exam that can be taken to prove mastery of content for a course

  • Offered at Austin HS on a scheduled time frame twice a semester at no charge (if you meet certain requirements) or taken through UT High School at any time for a fee

Garza High School Online

  • Self-paced online courses available during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters

  • Students complete assignments outside of school hours

  • Contact your student's counselor to find out more information.

Year-Long Averaging

  • If the average of the two semester averages equals 70 or above, the student will earn credit for the course.  For example, Semester 1 = 64 average and a Semester 2 = 76 average, the student would qualify for credit for both semesters by year-long averaging.
